John Brenner started his consulting firm, John D. Brenner & Associates, Inc., in 1988. As a senior human resources executive, he gained domestic and international experience working for leading organizations which included Mercedes Benz of North America, American Home Products and CIBA Pharmaceuticals.

He has created and directed management and executive development programs including: career development, assessment centers and succession planning. He has designed performance improvement programs involving the alignment of corporate goals with organizational structure, performance standards, and resources. John has coached and counseled managers and executives on performance issues for over twenty years.

His involvement with executive coaching and his interest in technology has led to the development of PerformanceIndex.com feedback programs aimed at producing dynamic information to redirect performance.

He has lectured at Duke University; the University California, Berkley; the University of Pennsylvania, Lauder Institute. He has also been an executive development seminar leader and taught Human Resources Management and Organizational Behavior. John is a member of the American Counseling Association and has a B.A. in Sociology, an M.A. in Personnel Counseling, and a Ph.D. in Human Resources Development.
